Mrs. Beaman-Dyslexia Support Teacher

Hello! I am a full-time Dyslexia Support Teacher here at Comal Creek Elementary School and this will be my 20th year in education.  I have worked for Comal ISD for 8 years.  My husband and I have been married for 18 years and we have two sons, a sophomore at DHS and a sixth  grader. Our family moved to New Braunfels from northeast Oklahoma in 2017 and we love it here! 

 I look forward to getting to know you and I’m excited to support your child in their academic success. 

In December of 2005, I graduated from Northeastern State University with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education & 2009 with a Masters of Education in Reading. I am also a Certified Academic Language Therapist  and a Licensed Dyslexia Therapist in the state of Texas. I also hold a certification as a Certified Structured Dyslexia Interventionist through CERI.
