Welcome

On behalf of the entire staff, welcome Wolf Families and Friends to the 2023-2024 school year! This is going to be a wonderful year as we open our doors for the first time and let our adventure begin. We are committed to ensuring that all students feel safe, connected, and challenged in everything they do in the classroom and beyond.

We will be starting this year with approximately 500 students. We look forward to establishing traditions that bring our community together to celebrate our students’ successes. At the same time, we place your child’s safety as our top priority. We know you have entrusted us with your children, and we take this gift very seriously. It is a priority that our school provides effective communication and a safe environment for our
CCES families.

Comal ISD Librarian Chosen for TALL Texans Class of 2024

Jillian Pratt is among the 31 librarians selected from across the state for the TALL Texans Leadership Class of 2024.

Comal ISD Visual Arts Program Wins District of Distinction Award for 6th Consecutive Year

The visual arts program at Comal ISD is among the top 1.3 percent in the state of Texas, winning the District of Distinction Award for the sixth year in a row by the Texas Art Education Association (TAEA).

Pieper Warrior Company Named 2024 Navy League Most Improved Unit in the Nation

In only its third year in existence, the Pieper High School Warrior Company is making headlines as the Most Improved Unit in the Nation. With keynote events such as the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb and the Bataan Death March Memorial hike, the program is making a difference both on its campus and in its surrounding communities.

Recent Smithson Valley Graduate Surprised with Texas Armed Services Scholarship

With tears in her eyes, a recent Smithson Valley High School graduate hugged Texas State Senator Donna Campbell, M.D., after learning she is the recipient of the Texas Armed Services Scholarship from Senate District 25.

District Teachers of Year Named During Night of Stars Banquet

A fourth-grade elementary teacher and a middle school AVID teacher and coach were named Comal ISD's District Teachers of the Year during the annual Night of Stars banquet in May. Thirty-six campus teachers of the year were honored as well.
