Sept. 17, 2025 - Comal ISD is hosting its annual Marching Band Exhibition starting at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, in Cougar Stadium at Canyon High School. Spectators will get a preview of the district’s five high school marching bands performing their competition piece.
The Exhibition program includes the following performances:
- 2024 bronze medalist in UIL 4A competition, the Davenport High School Wolf Band performs Wanderlust at 7:30 p.m.;
- UIL 5A state qualifier, the Smithson Valley High School Ranger Band performs Jumanji at 7:45 p.m.;
- Canyon Lake High School Hawks Band performs Legion at 8 p.m.;
- UIL 5A state qualifier, the Pieper High School Band of Warriors performs Aetherius at 8:15 p.m.; and
- Canyon High School Cougar Band performs Beauty in the Broken at 8:30 p.m.
This exhibition serves as a great opportunity for the bands to perform for each other and for clinicians in preparation for the Region Marching Band Contest on October 18 at Heroes Stadium.
Additionally, this event serves as a fundraiser for scholarships that will be awarded to band seniors this year.
Purchase tickets online at the Comal ISD website and enjoy an amazing night of music while providing scholarship funds to local students. The cost is $5 per ticket, and tickets may be purchased in advance.
